Dry Needling

Specialization makes a difference.

Dry Needling is a procedure where thin needles are inserted through the skin into a muscle, ligament, or tendon to treat an area of dysfunction. The therapist scans the tissue with the needle to find trigger points or tight bands that are causing pain, restricting range of motion or causing tenderness. The needle increases blood flow, decreases the muscular tightness, reduces tenderness in that area, and reduces pain that has radiated to other areas of the body.
